The Dahabiya boat is operated mainly by sail, but the boats travel with a tugboat in case there is no wind. Sailing on the Nile in a Dahabiya from Esna (1-hour drive south of Luxor) to Aswan will enable you to see many places rarely seen by tourists. You will stop for sights that are seldom seen on the regular Nile Cruises and you will get very close to villages along the river and real-life in Egypt.
You will be picked up from your Aswan hotel or port for a tour of Aswan After finishing your tour you will board your dahabiya sailing boat and enjoy lunch. Overnight aboard in in Kom Ombo
Starting your day with a guided tour of the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo. After finishing your tour the dahabiya will sail toward Edfu., where you spend the night aboard.
After breakfast served by your personal chef you will enjoy a guided visit of the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Upon returning to your dahabiya, it will start sailing to Esna, where you spend the night.
Check out from dahabiya, after that you will be transported to Luxor to enjoy a guided tour of Luxor monuments. You will visit Karnak Temples, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. After concluding your itinerary, you can be dropped off at any Luxor hotel or port.
